Class I-V Whitewater Rafting Trip:

This trip departs daily from Pipestem Canyon Rim Center at 8:00 AM for a 1-hour ride to ACE Adventure Resort in Fayetteville, WV. Experience running 21 (class I-V) rapids in a raft with a professional guide that also doubles as a whitewater historian. After running morning rapids enjoy a gourmet lunch served on the banks of the New River before heading back out on the water. 

On the return trip enjoy a video of your experience recorded and edited by one of our professional videographers that kayaks the trip with you to film those special moments and memories. A snack bar and drinks will be also be provided. 

When arrived back to the park guests will have an opportunity to shower and/or shop at Mountain Creek Outfitters before leaving. 

Duration: 8-10-hours (minimum of 4 participants)

Family Whitewater Experience:

Take the whole crew and enjoy a day running the rapids of the New and Bluestone rivers. Your guides will determine the best river and water craft depending on the water levels to create a family-friendly experience. 

On low water days enjoy floating the rapids in specially designed whitewater rafting tubes. On higher water days enjoy running the river in inflatable kayaks (duckies). We recommend single duckies for kids 9+ and double duckies (parent and child) for kids 6-8. On big water days we will use 4 person rafts with a guide in each boat. 

Duration: 3 – 4.5 hours (minimum of 4 participants) 

Minimum age: 6 years
