Swimming at Cacapon Resort State Park
Lakefront swimming and boating are available at the Cacapon Resort State Park lake Tuesday through Sunday. Summer beach hours are 10:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. The beach is closed on Mondays except on holidays. Due to school starting, the beach and boat dock areas will have limited schedules until Labor Day. Open daily (except Monday) until August 20, 2024, and open weekends beginning August 24 through Labor Day. Open August 24-25, August 31, and September 1-2, 2024; closed August 19-23, August 26 – 30. Swimming reopens on Memorial Day weekend in 2025. Lake entry is cash only, $6 for 12 and older. $5 for 11 and under as well as seniors.
The North Lodge has an indoor pool and hot tub; both are open from 10 am-10 pm. The Fitness Center located next to the indoor pool is open from 6 am-10 pm.
