Wing of Wonder, Birds of Prey: Cedar Creek

Live birds of prey at Cedar Creek State Park are presented by the Three Rivers Avian Center (TRAC) on Friday, June 10, 2022 at 7:00 p.m. The educational birds are a great opportunity to learn what birds say “who cooks for me, who cooks for you all?” as well as meeting other raptors.
The evening program is all about raptors native to West Virginia: hawks, eagles, falcons, and owls. You’ll learn about the habitat, diet and behavior of each bird presented, the most common causes of injury to each species and the laws protecting these special birds. There is no fee to attend. Open to the public, the program lasts about an hour and staged at the gazebo. Questions are welcomed. This is a family friendly event. Join us.
