Tree ID (YPP)
Location round the Nature Center
Take a short trip around the nature center with a naturalist and identify a few trees you’ll find at Twin Falls!
6:00 pm
Tails, Scales, and Shells (YPP)
Location: Meet at the original lobby in the Lodge
A short presentation about reptiles you can find in West Virginia. Kids also get a coloring sheet to
color while learning about these creatures.

Location: Meet at the Trailhead
Let’s take a stroll through different forest types and some insight about plants and animals that live at Twin Falls.

Turtle Talk (YPP)
Location: Old lobby at the Lodge
Discover your love for turtles and how WVDNR protects this creature
YPP is the Young People for Parks program for youth 6-16 years of age to encourage outdoor enthusiasm and experience.
The Nature Center hours are: Monday, Thursday – Saturday from 3:00-7:00 p.m.; Sunday, 3:00 -6:00 p.m. and closed on Tuesday – Wednesday. There is no admission to visit the nature center or to participate in planned activities.
