Experience the thrill of Sno-Go Ski Biking at Canaan Valley Resort State Park
Experience this new activity at a demo event January 25, 2024
Canaan Valley, WV – Adventure seekers and snow enthusiasts are invited to enjoy the excitement of Sno-Go Ski Biking, now available at Canaan Valley Resort State Park throughout the winter season. This innovative winter activity is now bookable through the Resort’s website here and allows guests to experience a two-hour tour, complete with all the necessary equipment, a two-hour lift ticket, and a guided experience — all for just $50. Sessions are limited daily and are likely to sell out quickly.
SNO-GO ski bikes offer the most exciting new way for adventure enthusiasts to hit the winter ski slopes, requiring no prior experience. The brilliantly engineered bike-like device features three skis, a chairlift loading hook, and an easy learning curve for gliding down the slopes. Most riders master the basics in under an hour.
Utilizing patented linkage technology, SNO-GO ski bikes provide exceptional control and performance. When a rider tilts the bike by leaning on the handlebars, the skis roll onto their edge, enabling perfect parallel turns within minutes of riding.
“This new activity aligns with our commitment to promoting outdoor recreation,” said Brett McMillion, Director of the West Virginia Division of Natural Resources. “We encourage everyone to join us for the demo day and to come and try out this new form of adventure and exploration this winter season.”
