What has happened since the disaster struck the Chernobyl nuclear power plant? Find out in this film about the area 25 years after the radioactive fallout from the accident caused a “dead zone” around the reactor. About one hour. NR. YPP
1:00 p.m. The Appalachians Mountains
These mountains have been called America’s “first frontier.” In this hour learn about the earliest settlers. NR. YPP
3:00 p.m. The Appalachian Mountains.
In this hour hear how the Civil War splits mountain families and communities. Learn about the Hatfield’s and McCoy’s and the great Coal Wars. NR. YPP
