July 21, 2022 – Thursday

Huckleberry Trail Hike
Meet at Scouts Field
Take a trip through the woods and add a little learning about the past with it. On the trail we will pass by the Pioneer Farm where you get to see how the lifestyle used to live.

Leaf Me Be (YPP)
Meet out front of the Nature Center
Taking a hike is a relaxing part of being out in the park. Have you ever wondered about things you should be aware of in the woods? Come learn just a few with the Seasonal Naturalist.

July 22, 2022 – Friday
3:30 pm: Pollinators
Meet at the Nature Center
Pollinators are important for so many reasons. Taking a walk to the pollinator field we will learn a little about what they do. Also we learn about what types for pollinators you can find here.

Come join the Seasonal Naturalist in learning a few animals you may see here in West Virginia.

The nature center is open Monday, Thursday – Saturday from 3:00 – 7:00 PM, Sunday 3:00 – 6:00 PM and closed on Tuesday and Wednesday.
