Meet naturalist Jane in Windy Gap Schoolyard (Balli Shelter if Rainy) to make & take home a bird feeder to hang in your yard. All materials provided.

TURTLE TREK
Meet in Windy Gap Schoolyard to learn the Perils of our Eastern Box Turtle in a self-guided game. (YPP)

ARCHERY
Learn to hold a bow, load arrows, target shoot & long shots. Look for an archery range in the game field across from the office.

Find us between the pool & tennis court, we’ll be flying birdies over the badminton net, just for fun & exercise.

All Naturalist Programs are FREE to everyone! YPP (Young People for Parks) encourages youth of ages 6 – 16 to go outdoors and explore nature in our state parks. Completion of 3 naturalist programs in one week will earn a certificate; completion of 5 YPP programs will earn a patch.

Let’s enjoy traditional state park fun at Holly River State Park.
