The CCC Boys: A West Virginia Legacy
The CCC boys left a legacy that can still be enjoyed all over WV in the forests they planted and parks they helped to build. Meet the Naturalist at the Nature Center to watch a movie into this WV legacy. (30 minutes) Following the film, we’ll go on a guided walking tour to see some of their work.

Ohio Canid Center (previously Ironwood Wolves) hosts a free presentation. Learn how wolves play a critical role in the ecosystem. Location is at the park gazebo, near the nature center. Open to the public, without fee.

Valerie Chaney is Cacapon Naturalist managing the nature programs and the wild meadows/pollinator zones at Cacapon Resort State Park. All hikes and programs begin at the nature center unless indicated. There is ample parking and the center is accessible. The nature center is closed on Monday.
