Stonewall Resort State Park

Stonewall Resort State Park features Stonewall Jackson Lake, one of West Virginia’s most undeveloped and scenic lakes with over 82 miles of beautiful shoreline. Day guests and resort guests alike can enjoy this ideal setting for some of the state’s best bass and muskie fishing.  The lake has a marina where you can rent a pontoon or Craig Cat or launch your own boat.

Cedar Creek State Park

Cast a line! The three lakes at Cedar Creek State Park are seasonally stocked for fishing. While trout are stocked during the winter months, catfish are stocked in May. Other species in these waters include muskie, bass and other fish.

Bluestone State Park

Bluestone State Park features a glimmering 2,040-acre lake making it a prime bass, catfish, crappie and bluegill fishing location. Set adjacent to Bluestone Lake, Bluestone Wildlife Management Area is also a popular fishing spot, with access to boating and stocked trout fishing in Indian Creek.

Beech Fork State Park

Right outside the busy city of Huntington lies an angler’s paradise at Beech Fork State Park. Filled with largemouth and hybrid striped bass, crappie, catfish, sauger and bluegill, Beech Fork Reservoir offers 720-acres of peaceful fishing.
