From remote wooded paths to scenic trails, there is plenty of ground to cover to keep you exploring for days. But if you hike only one trail at Twin Falls Resort, make it the Falls Trail. This rolling trail is a fairly easy hike out to Marsh Fork Falls before taking you downcreek to Black Fork Falls. Perfectly enjoyable for families and hikers of all skill levels, but be careful because the trail can get slippery near the falls.

If you prefer the comforts of a cabin, Twin Falls Resort has 14 secluded cabins tucked away in a hillside forest, perfect for any mountain getaway. Each cabin has a stone fireplace and comes completely furnished. Cabin guests have access to the lodge’s indoor pool and hot tub and the 24-hour fitness center. Traveling with a pet? Ask about out pet-friendly cabins.

The park also has a 50 campsites, 25 of which have electric hookups. Campers have access to grills, picnic tables, laundry facilities and two bathhouses. If you want to relive those childhood vacation memories, camping is what you need!

Get a glimpse of frontier life at the Pioneer Farm

No trip to Twin Falls Resort would be complete without visiting the park’s authentic Pioneer Farm, the most popular attractions at the park and one of the most photographed locations in West Virginia.

This fully-functional farm is a piece of living history. The grounds and all its adorable animals are taken care of by caretakers who live on the property year round. Animals you may see include pigs, horses, sheep and chickens. Seeing a homestead like this is truly an enchanting sight.
