Pioneer Cabins: Step Back in Time

For those seeking a truly rustic adventure, Pioneer cabins at Kumbrabow and Seneca state forests offer a unique off-the-grid experience. These cabins have gas lights, a gas refrigerator, fully equipped kitchens, linen service, wood fireplaces, outside toilets, water wells and an outside grill. Legacy cabins, also known as CCC (Civilian Conservation Corps) cabins, blend history and comfort. Located at Babcock, Cacapon Resort, Holly River, Lost River, Watoga state parks, Cabwaylingo, and Greenbrier state forests, these cabins feature wood or stone construction, electricity, water, fully equipped kitchens, linen service, bathrooms with showers, wood fireplaces and outside grills.

Classic Cabins: Charming Retreats

Classic cabins, available at multiple parks and forests, offer wood frame construction and a variety of room arrangements. These cabins include fully equipped kitchens, linen service, bathrooms with showers, wood-paneled walls and open fireplaces. Some also feature WiFi, forced air heat and air conditioning, so be sure to check off your list of must-haves before booking.

Vacation Cabins: Spacious Getaways

Vacation cabins are perfect for larger groups, offering 2, 3, and 4-bedroom configurations with 1 or 2 bathrooms at parks like Blackwater Falls, Cacapon Resort, Chief Logan, North Bend, Pipestem Resort, Twin Falls Resort, Beech Fork, and Tygart Lake.
