The Green Day Hike at Twin Falls State Park is March 25, 2023. Meet at the parking area for the Falls Trail at 1:00 p.m. and plan on an afternoon adventure with Naturalist and outdoors woman, Tammy Cooper. There is no fee to participate. The hike is open to the public.
Falls Trail is a loop trail that features the two different waterfalls that is the namesake for this state park. Wear comfortable walking or hiking shoes; in March, we never know if the lamb or the lion will be present.
In 2022 it was snowy and 24 degrees. On March 25, 2023 it may be cold or summer-like temperatures. Regardless, if it is a fair day, blustery, or cold and snowy, if you show, we go! Please dress for the weather.
Following the hike, everyone participating receives a Green Day Hike patch. This year there is a patch choice of a shamrock as available or white flowering trillium.
