Green Day Hike: Chief Logan
March 25 @ 1:00 pm – 2:30 pm
The Green Day Hike at Chief Logan State Park is March 25, 2023. Meet at the Museum in the Park at 1:00 p.m. and plan on an afternoon adventure with Naturalist and biologist, Lauren Cole. There is no fee to participate. The hike is open to the public.
Woodpecker Trail is a moderate hike with some inclines, however, we pace ourselves from start to finish. Wear comfortable walking or hiking shoes – closed toed shoes are a must; in March, we never know if the lamb or the lion will be present. This hike happens be it rain or snow, but hopefully some sunshine.
Following the hike, everyone participating receives a Green Day Hike patch. This year there is a patch choice of a shamrock as available or white flowering trillium. Contact Lauren.E.Cole@wv.gov with questions or for additional information.
