Celebrate the arrival of Spring by exploring the beauty of North Bend State Park by hiking on the Giant Tree Trail with Maddy, the Park Naturalist, on Saturday, March 14th!

Together, we will enjoy the new growth in the park’s Old Growth Forest! The total length of the hike will be about a mile and a half, beginning and ending at the lodge. To celebrate the arrival of spring as well as St. Patrick’s Day, wearing green clothing and accessories is encouraged!

Please dress appropriately for the weather and bring a water bottle and trail snacks if you would like. We will be departing the lodge at 10:00 am. A Green Day Hike patch is presented to each hiker at the conclusion of the hike.
