West Virginia State Parks, in cooperation with the West Virginia Department of Agriculture, is pleased to announce the 2026 Farm to Table Event Series! The individual talents of our state park chefs come alive as they craft unforgettable culinary experiences, preparing sumptuous dinners with the freshest products sourced from local vendors.
Each dinner in the series will feature its own unique theme, setting, entertainment and menu. These annual events at West Virginia’s state park restaurants create a unique summertime experience you don’t want to miss!
Overlooking the breathtaking view of the Bluestone Gorge, the culinary staff of the Bluestone Dining Room has created a farm-to-table dining experience that will be as amazing as the view outside your table. This buffet will feature honey pecan mountain trout fillet, apple cider braised local pork loin, Appalachian slow braised local chuck in a savory West Virginia gravy, homemade southern style mash potatoes with chives, country green beans with bacon, rustic honey roasted carrots with cumin, roasted local butternut squash risotto, local honey garlic chicken wings, skillet biscuits, fresh farmers coleslaw, Appalachian macaroni salad, farmhouse kale salad with roasted sweet potato chips, sunflower seeds, blueberries, cranberries, feta cheese, and lemon dijon vinaigrette, roasted Dutch Fork pumpkin soup with local honey, along with a beautifully displayed assortment of local meats, cheeses, breads, farm crafted jams and pickles, as well as peach cobbler and apple butter pie.
The price for Pipestem’s farm-to-table buffet is $55 per person, all inclusive. Stop by the Bluestone Lounge located at the entrance of the Bluestone Dining Room for a selection of beers, wines, and cocktails either before or after dinner. A special farm-to-table lodging package is available, including the farm-to-table dinner and one night in a standard room at McKeever Lodge. Single occupancy is $256.26, and double occupancy is $344.53.
