West Virginia State Parks, in cooperation with the West Virginia Department of Agriculture, is pleased to announce the 2026 Farm to Table Event Series! The individual talents of our state park chefs come alive as they craft unforgettable culinary experiences, preparing sumptuous dinners with the freshest products sourced from local vendors.
Each dinner in the series will feature its own unique theme, setting, entertainment and menu. These annual events at West Virginia’s state park restaurants create a unique summertime experience you don’t want to miss!
The pastoral setting of North Bend State Park accentuates this outdoor buffet event at Shelter 4. Located within walking distance of the North Bend lodge, guests will be treated to a locally sourced and chef inspired menu of venison meat loaf with tomato chutney glaze, roasted chicken with clementines and Arak, southern green beans, grilled corn on the cob, loaded mashed potato casserole, kale salad with apples, pears, dried cranberries, homemade rolls with cinnamon honey butter, and for dessert baked apple fritters and pumpkin cheesecake bars. A cash bar social starts at 5 p.m., featuring locally crafted beers and wines, with dinner starting at 6 p.m.
The price for this culinary event is $60 per person, all-inclusive. Musical entertainment and local vendors will round out an enjoyable evening at North Bend State Park. Because this is an outdoor event, be sure to dress for the weather. A special dine-and-stay package is also available. The package includes the farm-to-table dinner and a standard room at the North Bend Lodge. The single price is $214.50, and the price per couple is $279.00, inclusive.
