Caves & Karst of West Virginia

November 14, 2020 @ 1:01 am

West Virginia has over 500 caves that have been explored and mapped. Join us at 7:00 p.m. in the Pine Room for a program about Caves and Karst of West Virginia presented by Bernie Howe, Certified Master Naturalist.

Other caves exist in the Mountain State but are not accessible from the surface or haven’t been identified. Why does West Virginia have so many caves? How were they formed? Why are caves important? Join us for a casual evening of information and presentation. There is no charge to attend. Masks may be required for this indoor program.
