Cacapon Resort State Park

*The swing at Cacapon Mountain Overlook is closed seasonally from November 1 until March 31.

At Cacapon Resort State Park, the swing at the Cacapon Mountain Overlook offers a backdrop of endless mountains. Located steps from the parking area and beside the observation deck, this spot is easily accessible.

Blackwater Falls State Park

Just off the trail to the main overlook, you’ll find a swing with the spectacular Blackwater Falls in the background. It’s an ideal spot to capture the beauty of one of West Virginia’s most famous waterfalls.

Stonewall Resort State Park

Behind the Hickory building at Stonewall Resort State Park, this swing provides serene lakeside views. Follow the Bright Star Park Trail to the back of the lodge to find this tranquil spot.

Coopers Rock State Forest

A short walk from the main overlook parking lot at Coopers Rock State Forest, this swing is nestled in a lush forest setting. Follow the cobblestone path past the pavilion to find it.

Babcock State Park

Near the park office at Babcock State Park, this swing is perfectly positioned in front of the iconic Glade Creek Grist Mill, one of the state’s most photographed locations.

Bluestone State Park
