North Bend State Park
North Bend offers deluxe vacation cabins in a private wooded setting and a lodge featuring 29 rooms and a restaurant. It doesn’t get more peaceful than this! All cabins are fully furnished and have fireplaces where you can warm up and enjoy a board game with friends and family. If you get hungry, stop by the lodge restaurant for breakfast, lunch or dinner. No trip to North Bend is complete without hiking some of the park’s 26 miles of trails or a trek on the 72-mile North Bend Rail Trail.
Twin Falls Resort State Park
Set on a heavily forested hilltop, the cabins at Twin Falls are a place where you can kick back and relax. Each cabin has stone fireplaces and is furnished with basic appliances, cooking utensils, dishes, linens, towels and blankets — everything you need for a mountain getaway! If you want to enjoy the solitude of your forest retreat, you can prepare your own meals at your cabin. If you’re not much of a cook, come dine at the lodge’s full-service restaurant. Cacapon Resort State Park

This park is only a short drive from the historic town of Berkeley Springs, where you can enjoy a day of shopping and learning about our country’s colonial heritage. After a day in town, come back to the comforts of your cozy cabin. Each cabin has all the amenities you need during your stay. Winter recreation at the park includes hiking on 23 miles of trails and a nature center that features activities and programs. Blackwater Falls State Park
With the longest sled run on the East Coast and 10 miles of trails open to cross-country skiing and snowshoeing, Blackwater Falls is the ultimate winter getaway. Along with spectacular views, the park offers two types of cabins. Vacation cabins come completely furnished and are perfect for a quiet retreat. If you’re bringing the entire family, check out the four-bedroom deluxe cottages, which come with two full baths, a kitchen, washer/dryer and more. Cabin guests are welcome to dine at The Smokehouse restaurant at the park lodge. And only a few minutes down the road, Canaan Valley Resort State Park offers downhill skiing, tubing and ice skating.
Pipestem Resort State Park
Pipestem Resort is the place for family adventure! During the winter, the park offers cross-country skiing and sledding (weather permitting). Bring your own equipment or stop by the Pro Shop for rental information. The park also has more than 25 miles of hiking trails and a nature center. The resort’s fully furnished cabins include modern kitchens and bathrooms. Cabin guests may use the indoor pool, sauna and fitness center at the lodge and dine in the full-service Bluestone Dining Room, which offers breathtaking views of the Bluestone Gorge. You’ll also find hiking trails and cabin lodging at nearby Bluestone State Park.
