At West Virginia State Parks, we are always trying to make adjustments that help improve experiences for our visitors. Most recently, we worked with the West Virginia Division of Energy to install electric vehicle charging stations at lodge parks across the state. In October, we unveiled the first installation of these stations at Pipestem Resort State Park. Soon, you’ll be able to charge your vehicle at all lodge parks across the state.
Pipestem’s McKeever Lodge currently has two electric vehicle charging stations. There is no fee to use the charging stations. Pipestem officials expect this charging station and the ones to follow at other state parks to not only better accommodate current visitors, but also attract new visitors who also drive electric vehicles and need assurance of a place to recharge. These stations also help fulfill our mission to be environmentally friendly state parks.
Plan your visit and take advantage of these modern upgrades today!
