Pinnacle Rock State Park Trails
Reach for the sky with scenic overlooks and over six miles of gorgeous trails in Pinnacle Rock State Park. Each trail is welcome to hikers and bikers. The “Acorn Ridge Trail” is notable for its access to Jimmy Lewis Lake and Pinnacle Rock. An overlook area awaits atop the formation, with views that are nothing short of phenomenal. Be sure to check out the park map before you head out on your adventure.

Cemetery Trail – 1.3 Miles
This trail branches off Homestead Trail near the picnic area and ends at County Road 52/6 near Jerry Lewis Lake.
Beaver Pond Trail – 0.7 Miles
This trail runs from County Road 52/6 at Jimmy Lewis Lake back toward Pinnacle Rock, merging with Turkey Rock Trail and Homestead Trail, which ends at the picnic area.
Acorn Ridge Trail – 1 Mile
This trail begins at County Road 2/6 at Jimmy Lewis Lake toward Pinnacle Rock, connecting to Homestead Trail. Make a left on Homestead to emerge at the picnic area, or turn right on Homestead to return to Jimmy Lewis Lake.
Homestead Trail – 1.2 Miles
Homestead Trail runs from County Road 52/6 at Jimmy Lewis Lake toward Pinnacle Rock, connecting with Acorn Ridge Trail, Turkey Rock Trail and Cemetery Trail before emerging at the picnic area.
Lakeview Trail – 0.7 Miles
This trail begins near the parking area at Jimmy Lewis Lake and runs the length of the lake, ending at County Road 52/6.
Overlook Trail – 400 ft. (out-and-back)
Missing Overlook measures 400 feet out-and-back trail and features stone steps that leads up near the top of Pinnacle Rock to an overlook deck.
Falling Rock Trail – 800 ft. (out-and-back)
Falling Rock Trail measures 800 feet in length, out-and-back, with leads under the massive pinnacle rock.

Turkey Rock Trail – 1.5 Miles
Begin at Homestead Trail near the picnic area. Follow Homestead past the intersection of Cemetery Trail, then make a right onto the unimproved road that doubles as Turkey Rock Trail. The trail turns to a single track and forms a loop past a towering rock formation known as Turkey Rock before it connects to Beaver Pond Trail. At Beaver Pond Trail, make a left back to Homestead and pass an old home site to complete the loop.
