Horseback Riding at Cacapon Resort State Park
Discover new adventures on horseback at Cacapon Resort State Park. Cacapon is pleased to offer guided horseback trail riding tours through our partner, Triple C Outfitters. Experienced or not, this is a great opportunity to see Cacapon’s rolling and rugged landscape from a new perspective!
Well-mannered horses and experienced trail guides allow even the beginner to enjoy the beauty of Cacapon on horseback.
The riding stables operation is weather permitting, so please call Triple C Outfitters at 304-350-2591 to check on operating hours and days. The stables will be closed every Monday, except for Labor Day.
Riding Stables Schedule (Weather Permitting)
- June 4th through August 21st – open daily (except Mondays)
- August 22nd through September 5th – open weekends, weekday riding is by reservation only.
- September 6th through October 30th – weekends only
Standard Rides and Rates
Guided Trail Rides: (Approximately 1 hour) $48.00 per person, tax included.
The minimum age for riders is seven years old. An adult must accompany all children.
For your safety, the maximum weight limit for the one-hour ride is 260 and 240 for longer rides.
Only one rider per horse.
