Join us welcoming WVDNR Biologist Jim Fregonara as he shares the Snakes Alive program and the environmental importance of snakes. Get an up-close look at some of our native snakes like the Corn Snake, Black Rat Snake, and Milk Snake! Learn which snakes are venomous, and how to identify them. There are only two venomous snakes in West Virginia. This is a great educational and amazing opportunity for all ages.
Be sure to bring a lawn chair or blanket. This is a presentation of Cacapon Resort State Park and is FREE of charge and open to the public at 7:30 p.m. Friday, July 29, 2022.
