Lore and Tracking – Twin Falls Resort State Park

March 7 March 9

Presented by Doug Wood, the Lore and Tracking workshop at Twin Falls Resort State Park focuses on cultural exchanges during the 18th century in the southern Appalachian Mountains. Step back in time to the 18th century when American Indians and European Americans lived closer to nature. Learn some of the skills that were necessary for everyday life and learn the cultural sharing that has made our modern lives richer. Enjoy nature, drama, tracking and history in both an indoor and outdoor setting.

This workshop includes snacks and beverages during class, and a group supper on Saturday night. Bring warm clothes, sturdy footwear, camera, binoculars and notepad to get the most out of the weekend!

(For participants enrolled in the Master Naturalist Program, this weekend may count toward class hours.)
