Twin Falls bids farewell to July on the 30th and 31th. Take advantage of these nature-based activities. The nature center is open Thursday – Saturday from 3:00-7:00 PM and Sunday, 3:00 – 6:00 PM

Meet at the Trailhead
A wide range of creatures can be found here in the park. Join us for a hike on the Nature Trail to catch a glimpse of some of these creatures. Closed toed shoes recommended for this hike.

Turtle Talk (YPP)
Held at the Campground Fire Circle
Turtles are one of the many reptiles that we have in the state. With 13 species in West Virginia we have to make sure to protect them. A pledge and a color sheet will be provided after the presentation.

Held at the Nature Center
Invasive plants and insects have affected life around us. Come join the Seasonal Naturalist in a short talk about some of these problems.
YPP stands for ‘young people for parks’. YPP are programs to encourage kids 6-16 to explore nature but open to anyone to attend.
The Nature Center is located beyond the cabin area as you drive toward the campground. It is the small brown building tucked away right after the ball field road.
