Homegrown Music Series Presents: Jon Wikstrom and Ron Sowell

Jon Wikstrom is a thoughtful and insightful singer-songwriter with roots planted in the valleys and hilltops of southern West Virginia. Jon’s work entitled “Be My Angel” has been adopted as the healing anthem of the Maryland’s Fallen Heroes annual events. Influenced by many like John Prine and Jimmy Buffett, Jon’s music has a strong “let me tell you a story” vibe in most of his music. Pipestem Resort State Park is proud to present Appalachian artists from many genres of music to the stage at the Black Bear Patio at the McKeever Lodge as part of the Homegrown Music Series.
