Guided Hike: Douglas Falls/Blackwater Canyon
The Douglas Falls/Blackwater Canyon Hike starts at 9:00 a.m. from Canaan Valley Main Lodge. The average walking time is approximately four hours. 10 miles in length, the trail is easy and very rural – once you have started there is no way out. Elevation changes are approximately 1,290 feet. The use of hiking boots or cross-country walking shoes is recommended. Some trail sections are wet and/or rough. Please pack a lunch, snacks or water.
