This spring, the Nature Center at Pipestem Resort State Park is offering a series of exciting, hands-on events that are perfect for nature lovers of all ages! Start your day at 11:00 am by learning the ancient art of fire, where you’ll craft your own char cloth and practice building a fire using a primitive fire striker. At 2:00 p.m., join the fun with a Nature Hunt. Explore the park and search for natural treasures, with a prize waiting for those who find them all.  Wrap up the afternoon at 4:00 pm with a fascinating session on the Snakes of West Virginia. You’ll get the chance to learn about these incredible creatures and even touch a live snake. 

Greenbrier Valley Theatre “Always Keep Your Lion on a Leash”

The Great Easter Egg Hunt

The hunt will occur near the Headquarters Office, so don’t miss out on all the egg-citing fun!

Homegrown Music Series

Celebrate 55 incredible years at Pipestem Resort State Park with 55 amazing shows this summer—starting with an unforgettable weekend on May 2! Kick off the summer-long celebration with a fantastic lineup of live music. On Friday night, the local duo Bowman and Burr will bring their tunes to the Black Bear Grill at McKeever Lodge, followed by Acoustic Fusion on Saturday. Enjoy a mix of Classic Rock, Blues Rock, R&B, Country, and Christian Contemporary throughout the weekend.
