Rita Montrose watercolor painting workshops at Pipestem Resort State Park

PIPESTEM, W.Va. — Watercolor painting workshops for all skill levels will be offered at Pipestem Resort State Park  in April and May. This is a new program at the park and will be available at McKeever Lodge beginning at 6:30 p.m. the evenings of April 16, April 30, May 7 and May 21, 2019.

The workshops will be led by Rita Montrose, a former art teacher at Princeton Senior High School. Ms. Montrose is a graduate of Radford University with art emphasis of jewelry and metalsmithing and is an adjunct professor at Concord University in Athens, West Virginia. Her artwork is frequently displayed at art houses across West Virginia.

The workshop is open to the public. Each evening’s workshop fee is $15 for those artists bringing their own supplies and $25 for those who need supplies to be provided.
