Camping at Cabwaylingo State Forest

Cabwaylingo State Forest houses two campgrounds with twenty-one sites combined and a group camp, an exemplary way to rediscover the beauty of the outdoors. Campers can enjoy the many recreational offerings, including biking, fishing, hiking and more throughout their stay. A basketball court sits near the group camp, and equipment is for rent at a nominal fee. There is a playground on site, as well as the Crum-Morgan picnic shelter.

Campground Seasons & Dates

The campgrounds are open spring through fall, weather permitting.

Campsites may be reserved anytime online, by phone, or at the campground office.

Reservations may be made for no less than two consecutive nights on weekends (Friday and Saturday) or one night Sunday through Thursday.

There is a 14-night maximum stay.

Campsite Amenities

Coin-operated washing machines and dryers are available on-site, and a dumping station is nearby.

The campground store is stocked with camping supplies, snacks and souvenirs, including bagged ice and firewood.
