Cacapon Resort Cabins
With four types of cabins to choose from, you can customize your cozy retreat at Cacapon Resort State Park. Experience the comforts of your home away from home in one of the park’s classic or vacation cabins. Or get some much-needed rest and relaxation in a lovely wooded area by staying in a legacy or economy cabin. Cabins don’t have telephones, but cell service can be found throughout the park. Designated pet-friendly cabins are available, call the front desk to make a reservation at 304-258-1022
13 Cabins are available year-round; 18 Legacy and Economy cabins are available from April to October. Check-in begins at 4 p.m., and check-out is by 10 a.m. for all cabins.
Economy cabins are of wood frame construction. They feature electricity, water, a fully equipped kitchen, a combined living/sleeping area, linen service, bathrooms with showers and an outside grill.

Legacy cabins, also known as CCC cabins, are of wood frame or stone construction and feature various room and bedding arrangements. They come with electricity and water, a fully equipped kitchen, linen service, bathrooms with showers, a wood fireplace and an outside grill.

Classic cabins are of wood frame construction and feature various room and bedding arrangements. They have fully equipped kitchens, linen service, bathrooms with showers, wood-paneled walls and open fireplaces.

The vacation cabins at Cacapon Resort State Park are frame-built modern cabins with heating and air conditioning, fireplace, television, microwave, outdoor grills or firepit, and the standard inclusions of equipped kitchens with range, refrigerator/freezer, cookware, linens and relaxed settings. Open year-round.

The Old Inn was constructed by the Civilian Conservation Corps and was the first lodge in the West Virginia State Park System. This impressive inn recaptures a Colonial atmosphere with hand-hewn log beams, and guest rooms have tongue and groove walls of wormy-chestnut and knotty pine. The Old Inn is a unique setting for groups and family reunions.
Featuring 12 individual bedrooms with 8 full baths and 1 half bath, the Old Inn sleeps a maximum of 32 people with the following bed types: 3 King, 3 Queen, 3 Double, 3 Bunk Beds – double/twin, 1 Bunk Bed twin/twin, 2 Twin, 1 Trundle and 1 Sofa bed.
One bedroom located on the first floor is ADA accessible and features a double bed with sofa bed and a private bathroom. The remainder of the first level is also accessible, including the sitting room, common room, dining room, kitchen and a half bath.
The kitchen is fully equipped for large groups with a commercial stove, ice machine, two refrigerators, two dishwashers, commercial microwave, commercial coffee maker, toaster, pots and pans, and dishes. Cable television is provided in the two common rooms and Wi-Fi is available. There is also an outdoor fire ring.
