Camping at Seneca State Forest

Seneca offers peace and solitude for guests searching for a quiet getaway. Campers can enjoy hiking, biking and boating in Seneca Lake or the Greenbrier River. Don’t miss a trip to the 65-foot fire tower, which provides breathtaking panoramic views of the vast forest.

Campground Seasons & Dates

The campground is open from spring through fall, weather permitting. Before occupying any campsite, campers must have a paid reservation and all sites are reservable.

It is recommended that all reservations be made in advance. Reservations can be for no less than two consecutive nights on weekends (Friday – Saturday) or for one night on Sundays through Thursdays.

The number of vehicles or units on a site, payment, cancellations and refund information are good to know before making a reservation. Read more.

Reservations may be made online or by calling 833-987-2757. You may also reserve a campsite or check availability at the campground office.

Visitors can book a maximum of 14 consecutive nights.

Campsite Amenities

Seneca has 10 large and secluded campsites. The maximum recommended length for RVs is 28 feet. Contact the forest office regarding larger units and adjacent sites. Campsites do not have hookups.
