Cabins at Seneca State Forest
The Seneca State Forest cabin experience provides a peak through the curtain into pioneer life. The robust mountains of forest will entertain you in these simply cozy accommodations. There is no electricity or running water. Showers and coin-operated laundry machines are available in the forest office. Designated pet-friendly cabins are available. Check-in begins at 4 p.m., and check-out is by 10 a.m. for all cabins.
Pioneer Cabins
Pioneer cabins are of log or wood frame construction and feature various bedding arrangements. Seneca’s eight rustic cabins have gas lights, a gas refrigerator, a wood-burning cook stove, a fully equipped kitchen, a linen service, a wood fireplace, an outside toilet, a water well and a grill. Before booking, guests should know that pioneer cabins do not have electricity or running water, and shower services are available at a central bathhouse away from the cabin area.
