Voyage!

Two state parks welcome you in 2025: North Bend State Park and Blennerhassett Island Historical State Park! The North Bend portion of this package includes cozy accommodations for two guests in a standard lodge room at the North Bend Lodge. While at North Bend, be sure to check out the menu at the North Bend Restaurant, which features a wide selection of delectable menu options, including West Virginia roasted coffees, locally sourced products, and locally crafted beers. Be sure to stop by and browse the gift shop that features West Virginia products and logo apparel. Hiking trails, miniature golf and an outdoor pool are just a sampling of North Bend State Park activities.

The second part of this package is at Blennerhassett Island Historical State Park. This park is a short 40-minute road voyage from North Bend State Park to downtown Parkersburg. This portion features a sternwheeler ride, a horse-drawn wagon ride/tour of the island, and a guided Blennerhassett Mansion tour. While at Blennerhassett, be sure to check out the museum located on Julianna Street.

The Voyage Package includes standard accommodations at North Bend State Park Lodge for two, two round-trip sternwheeler tickets to the island, a wagon ride tour for two, and two entries into Blennerhassett Mansion.

Nature & Recreation

Get the most out of your time in this beautiful park with various events! A year-round nature and recreation program highlights the park’s natural and cultural history. Programs run daily from Memorial Day through Labor Day, but special programs or tours can be arranged for groups. Picnic areas, including picnic shelters, are seasonal by nature. These areas close at the end of October and reopen for use or rental in mid-spring.
