Chief Logan State Park Lodging

Lodging

Chief Logan Lodge features 75 modern rooms and suites, a full-service restaurant, guest laundry, WiFi, an indoor pool, fitness room and hot tub. Overnight guests also have access to the Recreation Center’s aquatic and fitness centers, professional sports shop, multipurpose areas and elevated walking track.

Cabins

Chief Logan has three, four-room cabins. Each cabin offers spectacular views of the park, which you’ll want to enjoy from the porch as you sip your cup of coffee in the morning. The cabins feature large living areas and all the modern conveniences you and your family will need, making them perfect for vacations, reunions, weddings and getaways. West Virginia products are stocked, including original artwork by state artists, Homer Laughlin china and Wild Mountain Soap products. One of the cabins is ADA accessible. Cabins are available year-round. Check in begins at 4 p.m., and check out is by 11 a.m. for all cabins.

Camping

Located four miles north of Logan in the heart of West Virginia’s southern coalfields, Chief Logan State Park is one of the most visited facilities in the West Virginia State Parks System. Campers will be surrounded by unmatched outdoor recreation, including biking, hiking, fishing, and swimming. The park is also located within close proximity to the Hatfield-McCoy ATV trails for campers looking for a uniquely West Virginia adventure.
