The Old Inn at Cacapon Resort: Perfect for Your Next Big Get Together

Perfect for any occasion, the Old Inn at Cacapon is your ideal group getaway with a variety of activities sure to entertain all ages.

Nestled at the highest peak in the eastern portion of West Virginia’s Appalachian Mountains, Cacapon Resort State Park holds a hidden gem: the Old Inn. This 12-room, unique log structure is a true part of West Virginia’s history for being the very first state park lodge. This gorgeous building harkens back to a bygone era. It’s surrounded by beautiful scenery and overlooks Cacapon’s 18-hole champion golf course. It’s also minutes from the fun, historic town of Berkeley Springs. The Old Inn can house 32 guests, so it’s spacious enough for the whole group, but cozy enough to spend quality time together at your next get-together.

Where Families can be Families

Planning your next family reunion? There’s no better place for families to gather than the Old Inn. Pass down stories around the inn’s stone fireplaces, share family recipes in the gourmet kitchen and enjoy family dinners in the inn’s dining area.

There are plenty of fun activities for the whole family to enjoy. All ages will delight in exploring some of Cacapon’s trails from horseback. Find buried treasure with the kids on your own geocaching adventure. Or let grandpa show off his fishing skills at one of Cacapon’s lakes stocked with trout, bass, catfish and bluegill.

No matter what activity you choose during your stay, each one will provide a lasting memory you’ll cherish forever. And we’re sure the Old Inn will become a family favorite for years to come.
