Celebrate the fall foliage by taking a park naturalist guided hike to earn a WonderFall WV State Park hiking patch! Join the park naturalists for a 2-mile hike along Cacapon Mountain fire road. Meet and park at the Cacapon Mountain Overlook area and along the road for additional parking. A group photo will be taken at Cacapon Mountain Overlook, the highest peak in the eastern panhandle (nearly 2,100 feet). This is also the location of the Almost Heaven West Virginia swing. This easy hike will be on a mostly level fire road, but dress with sturdy shoes and for cool morning weather. Dogs on a leash are welcome.
