Wings, Wildflowers, and Whatever Hike: Hawks Nest

May 17, 2023 All day

Wings, Wildflowers, and Whatever Hike is a Spring Fling activity!

Join in on this mini bioblitz. It will be an easy to moderate hike around Hawks Nest State Park, looking for wildflowers, birds, and other intriguing flora and fauna encountered along the way. Bring binoculars if you have them, water/snacks, and sun protection. Closed toed shoes are necessary; flip flops are discouraged.

A short car caravan may be necessary as we let nature lead this discovery route.

We’ll meet you at the main overlook on Wednesday, 17, 2023. The activity is about two miles of walking, but easy and paced. Please check the link below for a starting time.
Wings, Wildflowers, and Whatever Hike is one of many activities that make up the Spring Nature Fling coordinated by the National Park Service. Find more planned activities at other sites and those dates at the link below.
