What a great afternoon program! Three Rivers Avian Center (TRAC) is live at Lost River State Park on Saturday June 24, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. The educational birds are a great opportunity to learn what birds say “who cooks for me, who cooks for you all?” as well as meeting other raptors.

This nature program is all about raptors native to West Virginia: hawks, eagles, falcons, and owls. You’ll learn about the habitat, diet and behavior of each bird presented, the most common causes of injury to each species and the laws protecting these special birds.  This program is scheduled at several state parks in 2023.  

There is no fee to attend. Open to the public, the program lasts about an hour and is staged in the Activities Building at Lost River State Park. Questions are welcomed. This is a family friendly event. An excellent presentation for all ages. Join the Lost River staff and the raptors of Three Rivers Avian Center this afternoon.
