Spring is arriving and nature activities at Blackwater Falls staff and Park Naturalist Paulita Cousin invite you to Welcome Wednesday activities on March 16, 2022.

10:00 a.m.
Sing Out!
Toads and Frogs sing long and loud during the mating season. Join the naturalist to hear about the “frog pond” occupants. You’ll start seeing egg masses, hearing burrrrs, trills, and peeps as spring arrives. About 40 minutes. YPP

3:00 p.m.
Waterfall Hike
Join the park naturalist in the fall overflow/bus gravel parking lot near the park intersection for this guided hike to the view of Blackwater Falls. About 1 hour. YPP

The nature center is open from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.
