Geologist Ken Ashton joins us talk about West Virginia Geology with a focus on the Geology of Watoga, Beartown & Droop Mountain Battlefield State Parks. Learn about the WV State Fossil, which was discovered near Lewisburg, WV in the late 1700s. Also about the official WV State Gemstone, which is only found in Greenbrier & Pocahontas Counties. Participants will receive a Geology Rocks! Sticker.
