Volunteer training for the 2022 Island Season is planned for April 11, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. Attendees may sign up for volunteer opportunities on the island and museum and receive general training for various positions. Volunteers are the heart of the island. The docents and hosts share the story of the Blennerhassett’s, the mansion, island and the lifestyle of the 1800s. Volunteering is a great opportunity for high school graduates, college students or adults looking for summer volunteer work.
