The CCC Boys: A West Virginia Legacy
The CCC boys left a legacy that can still be enjoyed all over WV in the forests they planted and parks they helped to build. Meet the Naturalist at the Nature Center to watch a movie into this WV legacy. (30 minutes)
Followed by a guided walking tour.

Camp Morgan CCC Company 1523
Cacapon State Park was developed between the years of 1934-1941. Discover the many visitor services that are still used today. Enjoy a recent recorded interview of Camp Morgan member George Beam.

Meet park volunteers at lodge to take a fun and easy walk on the Piney Ridge trail.
Valerie Chaney is Cacapon Naturalist, managing the nature programs and the wild meadows/pollinator zones at Cacapon Resort State Park. All hikes and programs begin at the nature center unless indicated. The nature center is closed on Monday and hours may vary during the week. There is ample parking and the center is accessible.
