Spring Bird Banding – Tygart Lake State Park

Spring bird banding returns to Tygart Lake! Join master birder Joey Herron as we spend the morning identifying birds of the lake by sight and sound at Tygart Lake State Park Lodge. This annual gathering is a great opportunity for all ages to see birds up close and learn their stories. This event will take place in the front and back areas of the Lodge all morning, so feel free to drop by any time before noon, and bring your curiosity and questions! This activity is free.
