National Trails Day is June 3, 2023 and what better day is there to take a hike at North Bend State Park. Meet naturalist Destinee Williams at the Nature Center at 10:30 a.m. for a special hike on the Nature Trail.

Sturdy hiking boots or hiking shoes are suggested. A trails day hiking patch is presented at the conclusion of the guided hike to each hiker. There is no fee to participate. Open to the public.

National Trails Day is an initiative to unite all muscle-powered trail activities with the goal of connecting more people to trails. Each year, on the first Saturday of June, the American Hiking Society and the trails community invite Americans of all ages to walk or hike.
