Late-June Fun: Twin Falls - June 23, 2022

Twin Falls celebrates nature, flowers, butterflies and turtles. Free to attend and open to the public, join the fun June 23-24,2022. The nature center is open Monday, Thursday – Saturday from 3:00 – 7:00 p.m. and Sunday 3:00-6:00 p.m. Come on. We’re always glad to see you.

Flowers Bloom and Grow (YPP)
Location: At the Nature Center
Take advantage of a short program about native wildflowers. Afterwards we will make seed bombs, so you can start your own pollinator plot.

Pollinator Field (YPP)
Location: Meet out front of the Nature Center
Its a short walk to the pollinator field by the nature center. We can observe native pollinator species and get to know the ones here in West Virginia!

Turtle Talk!
Location: Held next to the Campground Store at the Fire Circle
Discover your love for turtles. Come color and enjoy a short presentation. We’ll even do a and a pledge to save the
turtles!

Butterfly Craft
Location: At the Nature Center
Butterflies can be found all over Twin Falls.
Let’s find and identify some of the key species here. Participants will be provided a short craft while the
presentation is held!

YPP stands for young peoples for parks encourages kids 6-16 to explore nature and be a good steward of state parks.
