Friday is the start of a weekend and more activities are planned. For June 24, 2022 enjoy these evening activities at Bluestone State Park. Activities planned and hosted by Jonathan Lipscomb, park naturalist and educator.

Primitive Fire Starting
Join the naturalist at the fire shelter behind the activities building to learn the basics of flint and steel fire starting. No matches. No lighters. Just flint, steel, charcloth and tender, and poof! fire. *ypp
7-9pm
Weekly Campfire
Meet at the fire shelter below the activities building to swap stories, relax, and learn basic campfire cooking skills, cast iron and other methods.
Servings are $1 each.
*ypp is the Young People for Parks program. These programs are focused on fun education for ages 6-16. Although, all ages are welcome to attend.
Often activities create a spark in a youth (or adults) for a new interest or hobby. Join these activities that are typically free to attend.
** All children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult
