Kids to Parks Day: North Bend - May 21, 2022

Strap on your boots and head out to North Bend State Park for Kids to Park Day to celebrate the National Park Trust’s annual celebration! Kids to Parks Day activity at North Bend is May 21, 2022 at 1:00 p.m.

Meet the Naturalist Adam at the Jug Handle Day-Use Area for a moderate 1.5-mile hike along the North Bend Dam access road and Castle Rock Trail. We will follow the winding North fork of the Hughes River and check out the stunning Castle Rock formation. Our eyes will be peeled for all wildlife and plant life along the way.

This is a moderate hike with one up-hill portion. Sturdy shoes, and water are recommended. This program is free and open to the public.
