It’s Kids to Parks Day and at Chief Logan State Park an Owl Prowl is planned evening program for youth and families alike. Join naturalist Lauren Cole at 8:30 p.m. She’ll be at the museum waiting for you. Bring a flashlight if you have one and wear closed toed shoes and long pants. Flipflops and sandals are discouraged. We’ll be back by 10:00 p.m.
You’ll listen for owls that may be out and about at Chief Logan tonight. Listening may help us see them. There is other wildlife that is nocturnal and if we hear or see those critters, we’ll talk a little about their habits and habitats also.
